Pinewood at TIFF 2015

The 40th Toronto International Film Festival is taking place this week from 10th – 20th September.

Included in this year’s line-up of films are Room and Spotlight, both of which used Pinewood Toronto Studios’ facilities.

Pinewood Studios Group are hosting a Q&A Master Class with Stephen Frears on 11th September as part of the TIFF Industry Conference. Stephen Frears' film The Program opens at TIFF as part of the City to City screenings - that this year focuses on London.

Kill Your Friends, funded by Pinewood Productions, will be screening on the 12th, 13th and 20th September. Kill Your Friends had foley work completed by Pinewood Post Production.

Spotlight, starring Rachel McAdams, Mark Ruffalo and Michael Keaton, will be screening as part of the special presentations programme on 14th and 15th September. Directed by Tom McCarthy, the film utilised Pinewood Production Services Canada, and used the Studio as a base camp for production.

Room, directed by Lenny Abrahamson, shot on Stage 1 at Pinewood Toronto Studios. The film will be part of the special presentations programme, screening on 15th and 16th September.
