Creative Audio Success at the Cinema Audio Society Awards

It was a celebratory weekend for Pinewood’s Creative Audio Team. Glen Gathard and Jemma Riley Tolch’s work on Bohemian Rhapsody was recognised at the Cinema Audio Society Awards, where the film won the big award - Live Action Picture. The Queen biopic also won for Dialogue and ADR as well as sound editing in a musical at the MPSE Golden Reel Awards. The film won for Sound at this year’s BAFTA’s and is also Oscar-nominated for sound mixing.

Further congratulations at the Golden Reel Awards go to Sergio Díaz, Skip Lievsay, Carlos Honc Navarro, Craig Berkey and the Sound team for Roma, who completed sound mix at Pinewood Studios, and won ‘Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing – Foreign Language Feature’.

Praise also to the music editing team at Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, who won ‘Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing – Music Score’. Pinewood Creative Audio are delighted to have facilitated localisation on the film.

Next stop, the Academy Awards!
