Wet Bum

Directed by Lindsay McKay, Wet Bum was the first film to pilot The Pinewood Toronto Emerging Filmmakers Initiative, which aims to support one or two projects a year, depending on availability of stages.

The film tells the story of a 14-year-old girl forced to work in a nursing home. As she struggles to make sense of growing up, she comes to learn about growing old.

Starring Kenneth Welsh, Leah Pinsent, Julia Sarah Stone (The Killing) and Craig Arnold and shot at Pinewood Toronto Studios on Stage 2 and associated production accommodation, Wet Bum debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival 2014.
