Got To Dance returns to the Pinewood Studios Group for the LIVE Semi-Final shows, starting Sunday 10th February.
The production is using A and B Stages at Shepperton Studios, which combined, total 30,000 sq ft. and will hold an audience of 1,200, plus a further 20,000 sq ft of facilities including offices, workshops and audience handling.
The Live Shows will also be brought to screens in full 3D, putting the home audience within touching distance of all their favourite acts on stage.
All the action will be captured using Timefreeze technology, ground-breaking equipment used during the London 2012 Olympic Games. Got to Dance was the first TV talent show to utilise Timefreeze and placed 96 SLR cameras around the stage to shoot 'Matrix'-style sequences during the audition process.
The Final 30, who will compete across five GOT TO DANCE: LIVE shows, features a wide range of astounding talent, from the shockingly bendy Shun (23, London) to the comedic tap-dancing act Hash Tap (23, Hull). With more styles of dance on display than ever before, including the latest craze of ‘Krumping’ courtesy of Godson (21, London), Buckness Personified (18 – 28, London) and Wild G (25, London), fans of every dance discipline are in for a treat. The show also features a brand new judge, Ashton Merrygold, part of the pop group JLS.
