Set 15 years after the Nostromo set off on its doomed voyage, the story follows Ripley's daughter, Amanda, now a Weyland-Yutani employee. On discovering the news of the Nostromo’s flight recorder being salvaged from deep space, she volunteers to join the recovery crew on a mission to unravel the truth behind her mother's disappearance. has completed

The game challenges the player to survive in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger as an unpredictable, ruthless Xenomorph is stalking and killing deep in the shadows. Watching the original 1979 film, you notice how silence is used to unsettle, to create a sense of waiting and of uncertainty. Creative Assembly have noticed too. Alien: Isolation is available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
