Reporting to: Head of Finance & Accounting

As Financial Analyst, you are an integral part of our Finance and Accounting team at Pinewood Atlanta Studios, and you bring an understanding of analytics and assessment across the entire company. You support the Head of Finance & Accounting in providing analysis and observation on strategic initiatives as well as day-to-day operational reporting timely and accurately. You work hands-on across the entire Pinewood Atlanta Studios team to understand the company, culture, and industry. You assist the Head of Finance & Accounting in driving informed decisions by providing data and investigative analysis across a variety of areas.


  • Analyze and report financial results, identify key trends, and communicate results to senior management
  • Create financial models for decision support
  • Deliver timely and accurate forecasts and identifying risks and opportunities
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
  • Significantly contribute to the annual budget process, communicate results and drivers, and assist with presentation of results
  • Partner with all departments for forecast, month end close, and budget data compilation and reporting
  • Coordinate reporting deliverables and assist in developing support analytics
  • Perform various special projects and ad-hoc analysis to help measure performance and process improvement to help support team needs
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools


  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Be comfortable with ad-hoc analysis and projects
  • Must be able to follow complex directions
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Have ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Must be able to work rapidly in situations of high stress
  • Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and work with multiple partners
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication (written & verbal) skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
  • Must have strong teamwork etiquette
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics.
  • 3-5 years of finance experience with a minimum of 3 years in a role with demonstrated strong analytical, modeling, organizational and technical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint skills (logical and reference formulas, financial functions, pivots, etc.)


  • Experience working in a growing business environment.


  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.


  • No travel is expected for this position.


  • Most of the time is spent sitting in comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
