Gravity (2013)

Gravity was filmed at both Pinewood and Shepperton Studios. Pinewood's Underwater Stage, B Stage and C stage were used, as well as Shepperton's B Stage, C Stage, R Stage, S StageT Stage and W Stage.

The film won a total of seven Academy Awards, including Best Director for Alfonso Cuarón, Visual Effects, Original Score, Cinematography, Film Editing, Sound Mixing and Sound Editing.

Special mention to Glenn Freemantle of Sound24, based at Pinewood Studios, for winning the award for Sound Editing for his impressive work on the box office hit. Glenn was also awarded the Sound Editing BAFTA in February.

Gravity stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as two astronauts who attempt to return to earth after debris crashes into their space shuttle, leaving them drifting alone in space.

It is directed by Alfonso Cuarón and is produced by David Heyman.
