Total Recall shot at Pinewood Toronto Studios out today in the US and Canada

Pinewood Toronto Studios, one of North America’s newest and most impressive studio spaces hosted Total Recall last year.

The film, out today in the US and Canada, used a number of stages at the Studios including 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 the Jumbo Stage and the Mega stage – North America’s largest purpose-built soundstage at 46,000 sq feet. In total the production took up 146,000 sq ft of studio space.

Total Recall is the latest in a line of high profile productions to make use of the Studios and other productions to use the facilities include Warner Bros, NBC, Twentieth Century Fox, ABC and Dreamworks. Recent Films and TV to use the Studios include Pacific Rim, Dream House, and The Thing.

Based on the acclaimed story by Philip K. Dick, We Can Remember It For You Wholesale, Total Recall stars Colin Farrell, Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale, Bryan Cranston, John Cho, Bokeem Woodbine and Bill Nighy. The film is directed by Len Wiseman from a screenplay by Kurt Wimmer, Mark Bomback and James Vanderbilt. Producers are Neal Moritz and Toby Jaffe and the film is executive produced by Ric Kidney and Len Wiseman.

Total Recall is out today (3 August) in the US and Canada and schedule for a UK release later this month.
