Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios will be a state of the art Film and Television Studio production facility with easy access to the Asia Pacific region, scheduled for completion in May 2013. The Studios are located in the state of Johor, the southern gateway to Peninsular Malaysia in the flagship development project, Iskandar Malaysia.
The facility will provide:
- 2 TV Studios both 12,000 sq ft and high definition (HD) equipped
- 5 stages ranging from 15,000 to 30,000 sq ft
- 36,800 sq ft of workshop space
- 35,000 sq ft of production office space
- Post Production facilities including editing rooms and screening theatre
- 10 acre backlot together with 30 acres of natural forest
