Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios is a state of the art Film and Television Studio production facility with easy access to the Asia Pacific region, scheduled for completion in July 2013. The Studios are located in the state of Johor, the southern gateway to Peninsular Malaysia in the flagship development project, Iskandar Malaysia.
With a range of stunning and diverse locations conveniently accessible from the Studios and the nearby production support hub of Media@Medini – Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios will be the new destination facility for the production of filmed entertainment in the Asian region.
The facility will provide:
- Five Stages ranging from 15,000 to 30,000 sq ft
- Two TV Studios 12,000 sq ft high definition (HD) equipped with audience capacity for 1,400
- 35,000 sq ft of production office space, dressing rooms and hair & makeup rooms
- 37,000 sq ft of workshop space
- Post Production facilities including editing rooms and screening theatre
- Backlot together with 30 acres of natural forest
