To accommodate the continued growth of new television channels on cable, satellite, digital terrestrial and IPTV, Pinewood Studios and Teddington Studios already offer unique specialised facilities for channel hosting.

We can offer purpose built air conditioned channel hosting television studios from 500 Sq Ft (47Sq M) to 1500 Sq Ft (142 Sq M)

• Tapeless playout and transmission

• Interactive television/telephony

• Multi-level interactive graphics

• Virtual studio if required

• Channel uplink facilities via broadcast line

The studios can operate as live interactive broadcast centres or be used to pre-record for playout or transmission on server systems offering a variety of output formats and bandwidths. Being contained within the main complexes at Teddington and Pinewood Studios, the channel hosting studios benefit from 24 hour security, on site catering services and a variety of creative services available from other tenants based on site.

In addition we are able to provide full studio and channel support services with production offices, dressing rooms, car parking and storage. Offices are also available for channel administration, call centres and product storage.

Video editing services can also be provided both for sound and vision. The studio services can have 24 hour television engineering support and the facilities can be custom designed to client requirements. The studios and facilities can be hired for the long or short term.

New channel hosting facilities are currently being built at both Pinewood and Teddington to accommodate the ever increasing demand for these unique purpose built facilities. Channels that currently use the channel hosting facilities at Pinewood and Teddington Studios include: Racing UK, Racing World, Quiz Call, Chinese Channel, Jewellery Channel and Film 24.
