What sources of funding are there for making feature films in the UK?
National Funds
The UK Film Council distributes National Lottery money to filmmakers for a range of activities including feature film development and production. International filmmakers may be eligible for funding if their project can wholly or substantially qualify as a British film.

Bank Finance
A small number of specialist UK banks offer film finance. This gap financing covers a gap between the finance raised and the amount required to make the film.
