Overview of the Group

Our 34 stages at both Pinewood and Shepperton studios have housed feature films, TV dramas, commercials, pop promos, animation and photo shoots.

We are home to Europe’s only permanently filled studio based underwater filming stage, one of Europe’s largest exterior tanks, 11 stages with interior tanks and the UK’s leading commercial media diving specialist, giving you limitless options if you need to film in or around water. 

Our post production facilities encompass 10 re-recording and mixing theatres, 2 ADR and Foley suites, and we cater for film, television audio post as well as foreign version dubbing, optical transfer and duplication, all supported by an experienced and talented mixing team.

The 10 digital television studios, including 5 digital channel presentation studios, at Pinewood and Teddington are just as versatile as our stages and post production facilities. The first TV show shot on HD in the UK was made at Teddington and the UK’s biggest interactive TV game show is made at Pinewood. They are also home to well known game shows, sit-coms and chat shows, and our digital presentation studios are home to satellite channels broadcasting live around the clock.

The Pinewood and Shepperton studio complexes both house a studio village containing a wealth of specialist media and production support companies. From tax and legal advisors to prosthetics and special effects, virtually all the expertise and infrastructure a production might need is on hand - keeping expenses, delivery times and costs to a minimum.
