Pinewood Studios

Rich in heritage Pinewood Studios has been host to some of the silver screens most well known moments and a succession of box office hits.

Situated just west of London in the grounds of an old Victorian manor house, Pinewood Studios has been a leading destination for the makers of film, television and commercials since opening its doors as a film studio in 1936.

Pinewood is located 20 miles from Soho and just 8 miles from Heathrow, it is also in close proximity to the M4, M25 and M40 giving direct access to other major cities and multitude of locations.

• Film Stages There are 18 stages here at Pinewood Studios and 3 backlots lots that can be used for everything from the most ambitious of set builds to CGI and photo shoots.

• Post Production Our 5 post production theatres are supported by 2 ADR/foley suites and are located in close proximity to our editing suites and cutting rooms and offer a full audio post production service.

• Television Studios 2 large digital television studios can accommodate the most elaborate of sets and lighting rigs, they are complemented by a team of expert technicians, and associated production accommodation such as galleries, green rooms, offices, luxury dressing rooms and flexible audience seating for up to 300 people.

• Water Filming We are also home to a permanently filled underwater filming stage and one of the largest exterior water tanks in Europe in addition to interior tanks on 6 of our stages.

• Location Filming For location filming the old house, formal gardens, fields offices and industrial areas, provide ideal filming locations within secure studio grounds.
