ABOUT ZEEBOX
In January 2012, zeebox announced a major deal with BSkyB that will bring the zeebox second screen platform to 10,000,000 BSkyB households during the course of 2012.
The zeebox platform enables an array of real-time social interactions around live television whilst providing streams of interactive, informational and transactional experiences second-by-second as each show proceeds and a plug-in architecture for programme-makers and broadcasters (called "OpenBox - Showtime") to create tailored next generation second screen experiences for their shows and channels.
zeebox is a UK start-up founded by ex BBC iPlayer CTO, Anthony Rose and ex EMI President, Ernesto Schmitt, has been met with universal acclaim since it launch for web, iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch in late 2011:
