Set in the grounds of Littleton Park Manor, a 17th century manor house in Surrey, Shepperton Studios or Sound City as it was formerly known began production in 1931.
A multitude of the most profitable and best loved films ever produced have been made at Shepperton. It is often described as the home of independent production, attracting some of the world’s most revolutionary filmmakers.
The studio complex comprises 17 stages, a vast exterior lot, first-rate post production facilities, luxury production accommodation and an extensive range of construction facilities. The studios house a studio village containing a multitude of specialist media and production support companies with a wealth of expertise in their fields.
The 17 Stages vary in size from 3,000sq ft to 30,000 sq ft and have been in host to impressive big budget features, large scale model shops and long running TV dramas.
The stages at Shepperton house 6 interior tanks, and H, the largest stage at Shepperton, not only contains a decent size tank but the entire stage can be flooded to provide an enormous interior tank, so you don’t have to shoot your water scenes at Pinewood.
Our expert team of mixers and experienced support team compliment our fantastic dubbing facilities. 4 re-recording and mixing theatres, 2 preview theatres, an ADR/Foley suite and 4 dedicated foreign dubbing theatres as well as a host of ancillary services and associated accommodation provide a secure environment for your audio post production requirements.

Shepperton Studios is situated close to the M4, M23 and M25. Heathrow Airport is just over 8 miles away and the studios are ideally positioned for direct access to central London.
